CYBER ATTACK - Wednesday 5th June

We have received news from South East London Screening  & Synnovis that they have experienced a random Cyber Attack which has affected all their IT system.

What that means to us is that this will affect any forms of analysis we need to send off for testing for example;

  • Bloods
  • Cervical Smear
  • Urine
  • Swabs

THIS HAS AFFECTED ALL SURGERIES IN THE BEXLEY, GREENWICH, LEWISHAM, BROMLEY, SOUTHWARK AND LAMBETH AREA

Unfortunately, we have no control over these issues and rely on secondary care to provide the collection and testing facilities.

We are being updated regularly but until the issue has been FULLY resolved, we are asking patients to refrain from having NON-URGENT testing carried out

PLEASE BE ASSURED THAT ANY URGENT TESTING IS BEING TREATED AS PRIORITY

We can only apologise on their behalf for this inconvenience
