The 170 face-to-face appointments were booked by the patient but the patient failed to attend or contact the surgery to cancel.
EACH FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENT COSTS THE NHS £30.00 for 10 mins.
This has cost the NHS £5,100.00
Please make sure that any pre-booked appointments are cancelled so we can offer them to patients in need. PATIENTS NEED THESE APPOINTMENTS – PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THEM UNLESS YOU INTEND ON USING THEM
