Dear Patients

In December 25, 145 face to face appointments were pre-booked by patients who failed to turn up for the appointment.

Each appointment was a 10 min face to face with a GP. This amounts to over 24 hours of a GP’s time that could have been utilised elsewhere.

This costs the NHS £4,350.00

Please can all patients be mindful that other patients need these appointments and sadly we are faced with complaints from patients who cannot get an appointment due to capacity.
